C4's Hauschild Named to All-State Teams (10-31-11)

Cass County Central's Heather Hauschild was named to the Class C All-State Teams by Nebraska's two daily newspapers.

The Lincoln Journal-Star listed C4’s ace pitcher to the Super-State Second Team as well as the Class C All-State Team while the Omaha World-Herald named Hauschild to the Class C All-State Second Team. Recognizing her talents as a pitcher and infielder, Heather was named as a utility player on all honor teams.

Hauschild led the Crush to a 15-13 season mark and a second-place district finish by compiling a .321 batting average and an 11-11 mark in the circle, accumulating five ho-hitters this past season.

Malanie Gist, senior shortstop for the Crush, and sophomore outfielder LeighAnn Novotny were named to the honorable mention listing by both newspapers.
