EM Defeats Louisville in Final Home Game (2-19-10)
Elmwood-Murdock 67, Louisville boys 45

Elmwood-Murdock had two athletes in double-figure scoring, leading the Knights to a 67-45 ECNC victory over Louisville on the Lions’ home court.

Freshman Jake Vavak scored 10 of his 12 points in the first half while senior Lance Steffen dropped in 12 of his 17 after intermission in leading the Knight charge to victory.

Louisville was led by Adam Sparks’ 11 points with three other Lions, Tucker Anderson, Avery Hopkins and DJ Hobbs, each scoring eight.

Louisville (1-18) will enter C2-3 Subdistrict competition on Monday at 7:00 p.m., facing Malcolm at Lincoln Christian High School. The Clippers bring a 7-11 record into the game, two of those wins coming over the Lions by scores of 66-42 in mid-December and 58-37 three weeks ago.
