Gennaro Named to ECNC Second Team (3-5-10)

Senior Tabby Gennaro is Louisville's lone selection to the ECNC basketball honor squads, being named as a second team choice by league coaches. Honorable mention went to Taylor Mohler, Adam Sparks and Daniel Studey.

Gennaro, a third-team selection a year ago, moved up to the second team after leading the 9-12 Louisville Lions in scoring (221), assists (82) and steals (49). An excellent ball-handler, the 5' 4" point guard, forced teams to drop plans to press LHS the past three seasons.

Louisville seniors Adam Sparks and Daniel Studey joined junior Taylor Mohler as Honorable Mention choices.

In the boys division, regular season and tournament champion Johnson County Central placed two on the ECNC first team. Justin Kosmicki of J.C. Central, a three-time first team choice joined East Butler's Ryler Cidlik and Kyle Schomerus of Palmyra as repeat selections on the first team. JCC's Derek Kuhl and Nate Raver of Mead round out the squad.

Elmwood-Murdock and East Butler, which finished first and second, respectively, during the regular season as well as the ECNC tournament had a pick on each of the three honor teams. East Butler's Marissa Bongers repeated as first team selection with Shelby Johnson of Yutan and Mead's Katie Johnson moving up from last season's second team.
